The cutting kit brings together the three spare parts that make up the shear's cutting group: fixed blade (counter-blade), moving blade in SK5 steel and counter-blade locking screw.
Replace it when cutting becomes hard work or frays the wood instead of severing it cleanly, when the blades no longer close flush, or when nicks, play or bent blades appear after an impact or a branch that was too hard. Replacing both blades together, with a new screw, ensures the cutting edges mate correctly: changing a single part against an already worn blade almost always leads to an imprecise cut and another repair a few weeks later.
The kit costs 10% less than the three spare parts bought separately and arrives in a single shipment. Select your shear model.
