How to choose, quickly:

TITAN 45 or PRU-45 PLUS?

Same 45 mm and same job, on mature olive trees and hard wood.

TITAN 45
pinion made entirely of titanium, three times larger than standard, in a shorter, less bulky body.
PRU-45 PLUS
the most responsive in the catalogue, with the batteries of the EVO 2, EVO 3 and SW-921.

RECOMMENDED USE

TITAN 45

Forty-five millimetres in a short body.

The 45 mm shears are big tools, and inside a dense canopy their bulk works against you. This one has a shortened body: same power and same performance, but it reaches where the other 45s do not fit. Pinion made entirely of titanium and an anti-cut sensor, which on a 45 is not a given.

Frequently asked questions

People also ask

What are the Falco Titan 45 shears recommended for?
The Falco Titan 45 is a professional 45 mm pruning shear, for mature and centuries-old olive trees, hard branches and heavy pruning.

The body is shorter than traditional 45s: same power and same performance, but less bulk inside a dense canopy.

The pinion is made entirely of titanium and is three times larger than standard: it is the part that gives out first on a pruning shear, and here it is built not to give out.
How does it differ from other similar models?
The Falco Titan 45 and the PRU-45 PLUS do the same job: intensive pruning on mature and centuries-old olive trees, with a 45 mm opening.

The Titan 45 has a pinion made entirely of titanium, three times larger than standard, in a body shorter and less bulky than traditional 45s; it has the anti-cut sensor and weighs 50 g less than the PRU-45 PLUS.

The PRU-45 PLUS is the most responsive in the catalogue and shares batteries with the Falco EVO 2, EVO 3 and the SW-921 pole pruner.
Is it heavy to use all day?
No: they are designed with a weight balance studied for prolonged use. The weight is well distributed, so even after hours of work they remain easy to handle, especially if you use the cable and shoulder-strap battery.
Is it compatible with the telescopic pole?
Yes, it is compatible with the 2.4-metre Titan pole, the same pole used by the Falco Titan 40.
Service and spare parts?
Our products come with a 2-year warranty, and original spare parts are always in stock. If something goes wrong, write to us on WhatsApp or by email: we reply the same day. If a repair is needed, we give you the address of the Gardenmac service point in Europe to send the tool to, and we pay for the return shipping, so you are never left stranded at the key moments of the season.
