People also ask us

What is the recommended use for the Sw-768 42MM?

It is designed for those who work in medium and large olive groves and orchards and are looking for a clean yet more delicate cut. Ideal for those who want greater precision on branches, less stress on the hand, and more respect for the plant, thanks to the double moving blade that blocks the branch and cuts, instead of pulling it.

The difference from other similar models?

Compared to the PRU-40, the Sw-768 offers greater cutting precision thanks to its double blade, which prevents tearing, with one blade "holding before cutting." The 42 has more power than the Pru-40, but provides a smoother and less "traumatic" experience for the plant.

Compared to the PRU-45, you lose a bit of maximum opening (45 mm vs 42 mm) and some thrust on very hard wood, but you gain in precision, control, and reduced fatigue.

The 42mm is a pair of shears that can offer an excellent balance.

Is it heavy to use all day?

It can be heavy, but the construction is designed to relieve fatigue: the double blade reduces strain on the hand, and the balancing is designed to prevent it from "leaning" too much. It certainly takes a moment to get used to, but by using accessories such as a cable + fanny pack/suspenders, it becomes much more manageable during intense work sessions.

Is it compatible with the telescopic pole?

With the Sw-768 42MM you have dual compatibility: you can fit the same pole as our pruners. You can also interchange batteries with 21V pruners: Swansoft CS-2 and Falco S-21.

Furthermore, on the complete set of shears + pruner + pole, we can advise you on the best configuration for you and offer you a discount, contact us to receive it.
